Doherty's Kenneth Chambers, winner of the 5A 100 and 200 meter dash, was an unanimous all-state selection. Photo by Alan Versaw.
In partnership with Runners Roost, Colorado Track XC presents the 2010 Runners Roost/Colorado Track XC All-State Track and Field Team. Selections were made by a panel of coaches from around the state. 20 boys and 20 girls were selected to the team with several of the panel of coaches reporting how difficult the selections were. Panelists were encouraged to consider the entire CHSAA season for the athletes as well as the state meet performances.
Several athletes listed below competed under multiple event categories (and, in many cases, received consideration for their performances in more than one category). I have listed them below according to what I deem the primary event category for which they received consideration. Please note that was a highly subjective call in a couple of cases and not intended to slight their performances in any other category of event.
