At the top of our list for the most improved and the best improvement overall for the course in general does go to McKenna Alackness of Heritage High School, who improved by an astounding 5:56 - almost a six minute improvement! Her time of 19:28 earned her 40th place in the very competitive Championship division, and it was her first time breaking 20 minutes for the 5k! Some other impressive improvements go to Katie Doyle of Palmer Ridge High School and Lucy Hitchcock of Woodland Park High School, who both dropped over 4 minutes on this course! Once again, that kind of improvement on this challenging of a course is definitely impressive! Both of these ladies almost picked up where they left off last cross country season, running similar times to what they ended their season at last year.
