Where to begin?

We could start with that Green Mountain sweep of the Standley Lake Gator Invite individual race. Grahm Tuohy-Gaydos and Kasey Klocek took the W back home, along with those checkered singlets. 

Then, how about we head south to Alamosa where The Classical Academy's freshman standout Sawyer Wilson dominated the field at the Joe Vigil Invite with an 18:36 victory. TCA took the runner-up by the slimmest of margins - one point. When people are screaming from the sidelines that every runner counts, this was one of those moments why. Los Alamos was the victor on this day.

Or what about that crazy finish with Connor Ohlson, Mason Norman, and Dylan Schubert? Ohlson took the W in 15:23 with Norman a second back, and Schubert in at 15:27. These are already pretty stellar times, and then you add the fact that they were run right around 8,000 feet of elevation. I can feel the burn in my lungs just thinking about it... 

Ohlson and Schubert went to Nike Cross Nationals last year - clearly Norman is ready to make the the jump this year..

And back on the front range there was this one meet Saturday morning...  

Riley Stewart and Cherry Creek took the Battle of Liberty Bell over Cameron McConnell and Cherokee Trail. Stewart was the runner-up in 17:13 which was a race that saw Wyoming's Sydney Thorvaldson break the course record, setting it a little higher on the shelf at 16:40. 

Make that Cherry Creek 1, Cherokee Trail 0. 

It was a pretty fast day, even with the humidity. 

I can't remember exactly if anything Big or Notable happened in the Boy's race...
